Yes! Kombucha contains a rich mixture of live culture probiotics and beneficiary acids which work together to improve digestion, build immunity, and provide a natural and healthy energy boost.
Our Classic line of Kombucha is non-alcoholic however it does contain trace amounts of alcohol (less than 0.5% ABV) produced during fermentation. Our Hard Kombucha line is alcoholic and ranges from 5% to 6% ABV. If you are concerned about alcohol intake for personal or religious reasons, you might want to avoid drinking our kombucha. Ask your doctor about drinking kombucha if you are pregnant.
Whalebird Kombucha uses 100% organic ingredients.
Everything should be consumed in moderation, but most importantly, listen to your body. We recommend 16oz per day.
We have chosen to use an alternative form of packaging and shipping for our kombucha that doesn’t require our cans to be shipped cold. You may be thinking “shouldn’t kombucha be refrigerated all the time?” and the answer is, well, kinda. Talia, our wicked smart scientist, has done extensive shelf life testing in order to ship our cans with the lowest carbon footprint possible which is why you don’t see any styrofoam or one way cold packs in this box. Her tests show that Whalebird Kombucha can last several days out of the refrigerator without compromising quality or flavor.
Whalebird Kombucha is brewed in San Luis Obispo, California. Next time you find yourself in the central coast please come by for a full tasting of our flavors!
